We believe nobody should die because
they needed FIRST AID and didn't receive it.
We aim to train as many people as possible, so
they can be the difference between a life lost
and a life saved.

Provide First Aid Within the Provide First Aid course, primary care CPR and first aid skills cover emergency care for the most life-threatening situations. It focuses on the DRSABCD’S and also covers secondary patient assessment first aid which teaches students how to conduct patient head-to-toe evaluations, allowing to determine the extent of an injury or illness .

This is integrated into an easy- to-remember emergency care sequence. This sequence gives students the confidence to provide effective emergency care to injured or ill persons.

The Provide First Aid course is medically based, following the same priorities of care used by professional emergency care providers.

The Provide First Aid programme is equivalent to the workplace first aid course commonly known as ‘Senior First Aid Level Two’ – it meets the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) Guidelines and it also follows the Queensland code of practice for First Aid Training in the Workplace.

Provide First Aid training is required every three years by Workplace Health and Safety.

The FIRST CHOICE FIRST AID Provide First Aid programme meets the requirements for the Nationally Recognised Training Unit of Competency
